1. Patti Starr's Ghost Trek - June 7th, 2008

Our first trip to Bardstown.  8 of us went on this ghost trek, read the results and what the trek consists of.  Even though it was just a trek, there was a little ghost hunting involved, we was using this to judge whether or not we should go back to Bardstown and we have came to the conclusion of a definite YES!,  read why.

1.  Patti Starr's Website

Patti has a great website and has help put Bardstown on the paranormal map and is very well deserving a spot here in the Bardstown Link's section.  She leads the ghost trek in Bardstown every year starting in June and does the occasional get away weekend there.  Also this is the home to ghost hunting group she leads, Ghost Chasers International.

2.  The Jailer's Inn

The Jailer's Inn is now a Bed & Breakfast in which anyway can stay at, but it once was the jail used for Nelson County and was built around 1819.  The property grounds were used to house prisoners from 1797 to 1987.  This also Travel Channel's #9 most haunted location.

3.  The Talbott Tavern

The Talbott Tavern was built in 1779 and is known as the oldest western stagecoach stop in America.  It is now a Bed & Breakfast, serves fine food, offers live entertainment and has one of the best whiskey bars around.  Also Jesse James has stayed at the tavern and left bullet holes in the ceiling which are supposedly still there today.
